Ma Abheeti: Floods catastrophe at Osho Manjusha Meditation Centre - You can help!
The large floods catastrophe in Germany passed also the Osho Manjusha Meditation Centre in Schmiedeberg near Dresden (Germany), situated in the beautiful mountains of the Erzgebirge. It did not only interrupt our Midsummer Holiday Festival in it's second week but also damaged our place seriously.
The small stream along our place grew up to a river spreaded over the whole area in a few hours only and teared everything he could get. All Manjushis and guests defended the houses like heroes in 2 days and nights in rain and mud - successfully. The first days without electricity, heating and sometimes even water. Courtyard, parking place and the property devastated. The new entrance bridges damaged and one even doesn't exist any more, trees fell down, from the street along the houses only a few meters remained.
The costs for repair are estimated more than 450 000 Euro. Many things we cannot do by ourselves."From all sides we already got lots of sympathy and help. Many called us and some even came especially to help us with the first works. But at the moment we mainly need money.
