Tantra Dewdrops: mini-interview with Moumina
Ma Moumina, an excellent Osho therapist, has opened during five days-long group for more than 20 women an inner space for their female energies. The process inspired us for asking her couple of questions related to tantra, to being a woman and self-love.
Can you share, what does tantra mean for you?Tantra means rather than using discipline and effort to change yourself into something 'better', relaxing and resting more deeply into what you are. It also means the meeting of opposities, like male and female, sex and spirituality.
Why did you choose that theme for womens' group?
As women we make so much effort that we lose touch with our female qualities of receptivity, slow sensuality and flow.
Is there any connection or consequence with your previous "feminist era"?
25 years ago I was a feminist, and at that time women believed they had to fight men to liberate themselves. Through meeting Osho I realized that we didn't need to fight men, but love ourselves as women.
What are generally the main issues women are dealing with today?
Today women seem to have much more outer freedom in work and sexuality. But at the same time I feel we have adopted male values without noticing it and lost touch with the female essence.
What does it mean to you being in touch with the female essence?
As women we can be open to energies that are more mysterious and invisible. To be a woman with Osho means a chance to integrate the male and female inside, without either one putting the other down; so the intuitive can be there and the practical too.
