The number varies from half a dozen to one hundred for the in-house Osho celebrations.
6. How many people live permanently in the commune?
About 8 permanent community members and about six less permanently so.
7. Describe your program for guests and workers.
For the workers, the programme varies. For the community, it usually means that they take care of the guests that come to stay at Croydon Hall. For the guests, if they are part of a workshop, then the facilitator is responsible for the structure of the day. We also offer Community Experience programmes and then the participant usually joins in helping around the community and joining in the other fun activities of the place at other times.

This depends on the workshop happening here. We offer a range of accommodation from dormitory to single en-suite rooms. Community Experience guests pay according to the programme they are on. It is 95 for a week for full board with a contribution of 35 hours of work for the week or 130 for a weeks full board for 20 hours of work contribution.

9. Is it possilble to visit your center anytime during the year? When is the "hot season"?
Yes, people are welcome to come any time of the year to visit. The hot season is the summer June-August.
10. Who is the leader or who are leaders of the center?
There are no leaders at Croydon Hall.
11. Describe one day in your center.Very difficult! Sometimes the day begins with Dynamic or Gibberish. Community members and guests are welcome to join in any of the meditations but it is not compulsory. Then after breakfast we all disperse to our various functions. Office, garden, housekeeping - busy preparing for the next workshop that will descend on us! After a working day is over, then sometimes we have Kundalini and the Evening Satsang meeting happens daily at 6.30 pm
After dinner, the entire community meets once a week, usually on the eve of a workshop. At other times we all enjoy a sauna and a hot-tub. Sometimes we go out to the movies, have a disco or just have a quiet time together or alone.
12. Tell us something about the spirit in your buddhafield.
Our buddhafield is an alive, ever-changing sea of energy. As people come and go and contribute of themselves, the energy of the buddhafield changes. We are very much Oshos vision of Meditation in the Marketplace. As we are maturing as a business, we are also trying to find a balance between being true to our Osho-ness and being an upcoming and busy business in the world. As a community, we are learning from our experiences and always finding ways to incorporate that into our life. The spirit and the foundation of our buddhafield is meditation.
13. Do you want to add something for RebelliousSpirit.com readers?
We are also trying to embody the concept of Zorba the Buddha the New Man. A marriage of the material (we have a bar, leisure facilities like the sauna, swimming pool, hot-tub, comfortable accommodation and delicious food etc.) and the spiritual a community and a business based on meditation.
