4 mini-interviews on sannyas conditioning: first round by Swami Dharma Sidika
We have already touched the "sannyas conditioning" in our last interview with Sw Samveda. It seems to be a theme to dwell on for a while. Does it give any sense? sannyas... conditioning... ? It sounds strange.
So... we decided to play a bit with it and forwarded this question to 4 different people, 4 sannyasins. Let's see what we got. Today we start with the first respond from Sidika. Stay tuned and use the space for sharing. What is your experience?
If there is conditioning, there is no sannyas.
What you call sannyas conditioning is beautiful, it is just a part of the journey. And that some people point it out to others is also beautiful, than we all can look at ourselves, how much truth is in it.
For me it was kind of "stuckness" in trying to clean out something, constant processing something (feeding the emotions with the mind). When I was speaking with friends, I was using words like that is intense. Doing lots of groups with that attitude to reach somewhere, thinking that it is good for me, for my enlightement. Now to me enlightement is something what is happening every moment. And I do not speak against groups. I just speak about the attitude. I can still do groups and meditation techniques, but not for the goal somewhere in the future, but for enjoying the moment. Than it is not a doing, than it just is! They are beautiful tools. But the attitude is not to reach anywhere. Not to suffer for the very subtle spiritual ambition of ego to became somebody.
I feel under all these deeply rooted feeling of unworthiness, thinking that something is wrong with me and I have got to change myself.
What I have been always looking for is already here and now. And sannyas for me is to live it, to enjoy it, to dance it; to be like a cloud floating. And the cloud is free, without any direction, without any conditioning. Cloud is already here & now.
