A new buddhafield is born - the new Osho Meditation and Healing Center on the volcanic Island of Lanzarote, Canary Islands. In spring 2002 the new Osho Center and meditation school will open as a place for meditation, healing and holiday, where you can participate in groups, meditate in the pyramid center, treat yourself with various individual sessions, and explore the special beauty and atmosphere of the island, where the climate is always spring, with a fresh breeze coming from africa across the atlantic ocean.
THE FESTIVAL is an invitation to all lovers and friends of Meditation, Osho, Truth, Nature, Music, Adventures, Silence, Love , ...awake or asleep...
THE PROGRAM
Daily meditation schedule with different active and silent meditations. All meditations will be explained in detail and facilitated by experienced meditators.
Dynamic, Kundalini, Nadabrahma, Vipassana, Gourishankar, and 2 Zen-Meditation nights (23rd and 24th July). There will be an open daily sharing about meditation for asking questions, sharing insights, and to deepen our understanding of meditation.
"Talking to your body" - Meditationprocess, 22. - 28.7., 1 hour daily
Daily WRB at 7 pm, Celebration and silence with live music by Anubhava (Peter Makena) and selected Videos of Osho?s discourses.
SufiDance with Peter (Anubhava) and Aneeta Makena (many of us know them from Pune 1, where we danced and sang madly in music group with thousands of people, or from sufidancing, getting drunk from the heart). They will be with us for these two weeks, and also offer some evening workshops. Their music is an expression of the heart and full of celebration and grace. Their CD?s are well-known (Open to Grace, In Love, Love-songs, Sutras and Prayers) and can be tasted on www.openskymusic.com.

The Pyramid Center is a place of inner Transformation and Meditation, with a big pyramid as the center for groups and meditations, 2 other big and small seminar-rooms, sessionrooms, a huge terrace for open air events and relaxation in the sun, showers, and a coffee-shop with drinks, snacks and sushis. It has access to a swimming pool downstairs, the ocean is just 100 m away, and the closest beach is within 5 min walking distance. On the terrace you can relax under the open sky, meet friends, enjoy the view and sound of the ocean and the everblowing breeze from the atlantic.
LANZAROTE- the black, mysterious island has preserved its authentic beauty. It is the direct meeting with the elements fire, water, earth and air. The firemountains are the result of strong volcanic eruptions in 1730, which have formed countless volcanoes, bizzare volcanic valleys and breathtaking moonlandscapes, which remind us of timeless moments at the beginning of mankind.
Lanzarote is on the geographical height of the sahara, delhi, and hawaii, just 115 km from the african coast. There is always a fresh breeze on the island, the wind comes across the cleansing ocean, and therefore Lanzarote has one of the most healthy and balanced climates of the world, (thanks to the winds and the close equator), where it is always spring. Temperatures are between 22-30C.
There are beautiful white sand beaches, quiet natural beaches, and the magic silver-black beach of Janubio.Lanzarote is also known as one of the best places for windsurfing.
The impressing beauty of two vast caves which have formed at the end of the lavastream, is unique in the world, with tropical gardens, restaurants, underground lakes, a natural concert hall and impressing views of overlapping layers of ancient stoneformations.
Next to Lanzarote is the small island La Graciosa,with long stretches of perfect sand beaches free of tourism.
ACCOMODATION /FLIGHTS:
Many hotels and restaurants in every category can be found in the area of Costa Teguise, and it is recommended to book your accomodation in this area. Rental cars are available on the island. It is also possible to rent holiday-houses and fincas.
Camping is available, as well as limited private accomodation , please book early!
Charter flights are available from all countries and major airports, regular flights are more expensive.
BOOKING / CONTACT:
Booking for the festival entitles you to participate in the daily meditation Programm, and to use the facilities of the pyramid center.
Booking your participation in advance is absolutely necessary, also accomodation and flights need to be booked in advance, due to high season at this time.
You can book for the entire festival, for one week, or any number of days exceeding one week. The minimum booking is for one week.
Please book as early as possible, in case of your cancellation the fees will be refunded except 10% cancellation fees (for cancellations until June 15th, later cancellations 30% cancellation fees). We recommend to book a travel cancellation insurance with your travel agent).
The fee for festival participation per day is 35 US $, or Euro 70. It entitles you to participation in the full festival programm (except special evening workshops) and to use the facilities of the pyramid center.
Special reduction for advance booking of the entire 2 weeks.
One week participation is $ 245 or Euro 245, two weeks special $ 450 or Euro 450.
