Devakrishna: What a Joke!
The story Osho International - Puna headquarter told me in few words:
1 - In 2004 Osho International sold more than 6 million books in more than 120 countries.2- Was difficult to pic up sales after Osho left and now is going big again since the last 3 or 4 years, in China Osho is outlawed and the books get smuggled trough Taiwan.
3 - To do so Osho International sold the Osho copyrights to the biggest publishers around the world.
4 - The biggest publishers have all the rights and keep publishing books that sells as long they sell even when the Osho Puna headquarters will be gone or death or disappear in the very long future.
5- That makes Osho International free of that burden so that they can put full energy to keep the place (Osho Resort) going, where the Osho-Auditorium (in season: October till March) is full off new sannyas meditating (I was there and believe me, is full, on a Kundalini meditation I came a bit to late and could not find a place to stand ... and the Auditorium is BIG! At the resort: 150.000 visits from 102 country last year alone.)
6 - The publishers have and know all the tricks to sell the books witch would be of an immense task if taken care from the Osho International alone (it's the same like big movies or famous music)
7 - The big publishers give shit to the Osho International-Puna headquarters because the Osho International-Puna headquarters can't control the 1000's sannyas websites popping up everyday full of Osho discourses (the big publisher paid the rights for) free on the web .
8 - Osho International-Puna headquarters tries to tell everybody who has a web on Osho to cut down to 300 words x pages (as the osho copyright says) to prevent the big publisher to sue you.
9 - Oshoworld and the rest who are against this policy and have a fight or are angry with Osho International say: "fuck you, Osho is free for everybody, the copyright should stay within the Osho Foundation" . They also changed the dynamic meditation last stage from dancing to laying down, just because Osho started that way at the beginning and changed to dancing later, sort of 'we got the original version'syndrome (I personally did not like that at all and I think this was the main reason for the split between Indians versus Westerns, Oshoworld.com versus Osho.com.
10 - The rest who support the Osho International-Puna headquarters says: " what about Krishna, what about Otoons?"
So I got called in and explained the above to me.
As you can see the mathematics what is the best?
And all I know just coming back from Puna is that is full of juicy young sannyas dancing and celebrating and going trough the same ego frictions like we did and growing and coming back, some of them I met are not even sannyasin and do the meditations, groups, working and come back year after year and transforming themselves.
AND 99.9999% of all old sannyasins I meet or I know have a fuck you against the Osho International-Pune headquarters and the way they running things and feel left out.
What a Joke!!!!!!!!!!! (apparently Osho predicted that also)
